Indian domestic coal prices remained unchanged this week, with 4500 GCV and 5000 GCV grades holding at INR 4,500/t and INR 4,950/t exw-Bilaspur. Traders stayed firm on offers, resisting further price cuts, as rates have already hit base levels. Inquiries were heard in the market, with buyers mostly negotiating at around current prices. There was no upward movement in offers.
