India: Over 210,000 t of iron ore booked at auctions from Karnataka

Recently, 218,500-t iron ore were booked at auctions from Karnataka.

• KSMCL: 52,500-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 50.04-52.95%) booked at INR 2,145-2,326/t; 79,000-t fines (Fe 52.52-52.88%) at INR 1,715-1,864/t (excluding taxes) on 8 Apr’25.
• SMIORE: 16,000-t fines (Fe 58.5-59.8%) booked at INR 3,700-4,000/t; 13,000-t lumps (20-40 mm, Fe 55.5-59.4%) at INR 4,200-5,470/t; 3,000-t lumps (5-20 mm, Fe 56.2-57.6%) at INR 4,610-5,040/t; 55,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53.6-58.5%) at INR 3,410-4,580/t (including taxes) on 4 Apr’25.
