India: Hindalco, Balco raise aluminium ingot prices by up to INR 3,000/t ($34/t)

India’s primary producers increased aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 3,000/t ($34/t) compared to 8 Apr’25. Post-revision, Hindalco’s prices were at INR 244,250/t ($2,820/t), up by INR 3,000/t ($34/t), and Balco’s were at INR 245,000/t ($2,828/t), up by INR 2,000/t ($23/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,323/t.
