China’s Taiyuan Iron and Steel Corporation (TISCO) has increased its ferro chrome tender prices for Apr’25 by RMB 600/t ($82/t) m-o-m, to RMB 7,395/t ($1,012/t) DAP, inclusive of taxes. The price hike is attributed to higher production costs, stronger domestic market prices, a recent rise in prices from Tsingshan, and rising imported chrome ore costs due to supply constraints.
