Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang decreased by INR 200/t d-o-d on 5 Apr’25. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 35,000/t ($409/t) ex-yard. Demand for semi-finished and finished steel was moderate during yesterday’s trading session, and average trading activity was seen. As a result, scrap suppliers decided to reduce their offers today.
