KIOCL Intends to Procure 50,000 MT CLO for Mangalore Based Pig Iron Plant

State-owned, KIOCL has recently floated a tender to procure around 50,000 MT CLO (Calibrated lump ore) in order to feed its Mangalore-based blast furnace unit.

The end product of the blast furnace unit is Pig iron and has installed capacity of 0.228 MnT at Panambur, Mangalore.

The required ore should contain Fe 64% and size should be between 15 mm to 40 mm. Also, only indigenous suppliers are eligible to participate in this tender. However, supplies can be made through road cum sea route or through rail cum sea route by coastal movement.

Interested and reputed parties interested in the supply of CLO to KIOCL, can submit their quotation on “Total Delivered Cost” basis. Prices quoted should include all the taxes & statutory levies, freight up to KIOCL stockyard, Mangalore, along with loading, unloading and stacking charges, except VAT/CST.

The last date of submission of bids will be 27 Jul’16 at 15:00 hrs.
