NMDC’s steel plant in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh, conducted an auction for 10,000 t of steel-grade pig iron (for road transport) on 3 Apr’25. Of the total offered quantity, 5,000 t were booked at the base price of INR 35,000/t. At the previous auction, out of the 15,000 t on offer, 8,500 t were booked at the base price of INR 34,300/t.
