Pakistan: Thermal coal imports decline by over 30% y-o-y in Mar’25

Pakistan’s thermal coal imports stood at 0.39 mnt in Mar’25, marking a 20% rise from 0.32 mnt in Feb. Also, imports declined by 31% y-o-y from 0.56 mnt in Mar’24. South Africa remained the top supplier, exporting 0.23 mnt in Mar, followed by Indonesia and Tanzania, both at 60,000 t.
