BigMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index remained stable at INR 10,250/t ($120/t) DAP Raipur. Odisha-based pellet producers offered Fe 62.5/63% grade material in Raipur at INR 9,500-10,100/t ($111-118/t) DAP.
Sponge iron prices in India increased by INR 100-500/tonne (t) across markets today. However, Ramgarh and Hyderabad saw prices dropping by INR 100-150/t. PDRI market prices closed at INR 25,100-27,600/t, while CDRI tags were at INR 27,900-32,300/t.
BigMint’s billet index climbed to a six-month high, rising by INR 250/t d-o-d to reach INR 42,100/t exw-Raipur.
