China’s Taiyuan Iron and Steel Corporation (TISCO) has kept its Mar’25 ferro chrome tender prices steady m-o-m at RMB 6,795/t ($939/t) DAP, including taxes. This comes after tender prices were kept unchanged by another stainless steel giant, Tsingshan. Currently, higher production costs and low steel mill tender prices are posing challenges for ferro chrome producers, keeping supplies tight.
