The Comilog Trade Union Collective declared an unlimited strike from 6 Mar’25, following unsuccessful negotiations with the company management over long-standing issues and the government’s lack of response on these, as per reports. The strike will occur at Moanda’s industrial zone and DTE in Owendo, with no minimum service. An extended strike disrupting operations may impact manganese ore supplies in the near term.
