India: Over 100,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Around 120,000-t iron ore will be auctioned from Karnataka.

• Vedanta: 20,000-t lumps (6-20mm, Fe 54-54.5%), 4,000-t lumps (10-40mm, Fe 54.5%) on 6 Mar.
• U Krishna Prasad: 4,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 62.22%) at INR 6,050/t, 32,000-t fines (Fe 58.75-61.62%) at INR 3,900-4,945/t on 7 Mar (prices include taxes).
• NMDC Donimalai: 20,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 58%), 40,000-t fines (Fe 58%) on 10 Mar.

Vedanta and NMDC’s prices are yet to be announced.
