China: Steel billet prices inch down by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan edged down d-o-d by RMB 10/t ($1/t) to 3,090/t ($424/t) on 28 Feb’25. Prices include 13% VAT.
Fall in raw material, finished steel prices and weak trading activity weighed on billet prices.
SHFE rebar futures (May’25 delivery) remained largely stable d-o-d at RMB 3,328/t ($457/t) on 28 Feb.
