China: Steel billet prices fall by RMB 30/t ($4/t)

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan fell by RMB 30/t ($4/t) to 3,100/t ($428/t) on 24 Feb’25 as against 21 Feb. Prices include 13% VAT.
A decline in raw material, finished steel prices, and rebar futures weighed on billet tags.
SHFE rebar futures (May’25 delivery) dipped by RMB 21/t ($3/t) to RMB 3,340/t ($461/t) on 24 Feb as against 21 Feb.
