South Africa: Glencore’s ferro chrome production drops 8% q-o-q in Q4CY’24

Glencore, a leading South African ferro chrome producer, reported a 8% q-o-q fall in production to 272,000 t in Q4CY’24 compared to 295,000 t in Q3CY’24. Meanwhile, y-o-y, output fell by 6% from 289,000 t in Q4CY’23. Additionally, the production in CY’24 stood at 1,166,000 t against 1,162,000 t in CY’23.
