Balco, one of India’s leading aluminium producers, has raised prices of its primary aluminium P1020 (99.7%) ingots by INR 4,750/t ($54/t), effective 20 Feb’25. Balco’s new prices are at INR 280,250/t ($3,231/t), up from INR 275,500/t ($3,176/t) on 15 Feb. All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME stood at $2,708/t.
