Due to technical issues, the government of Goa has decided to re-auction the Curpem and Sulcorna iron ore mine XI, for which Vedanta was previously selected as the preferred bidder. According to a recent update, the auction has been scheduled for 14 Feb’25, on the official MSTC website. The mine, covering an area of approximately 87.65 ha, has geological resources of an estimated 9.8 mnt.
