RBSSN emerged as the highest bidder in the Kumaraswamy iron ore mine block auction offering a premium of 200%. The block, of around 88 Ha, is located in Ballari district, Karnataka and has geological resources of 25.98 mnt. The mine comprises deposits of average-grade Fe 63.05% (haematitic iron ore) and Fe 38.37% (haematitic siliceous ore).
