MSPL Limited emerged as the highest bidder at the Vibuthigudda iron ore mine auction, offering a premium of 163.20%. The block, of around 119.71 Ha, is located in the Bellary district, Karnataka, and has geological resources of 31.04 mnt. The mine comprises deposits of average-grade Fe 58.42% (haematitic iron ore) and Fe 38.02% (haematitic siliceous ore).
