Vizag Steel has floated a tender for export of various steel products including Billet, Blooms, Rounds, Structures and Cast Rounds. The company is offering a total quantity of 79,000 MT.
The company, in the tender issued, has offered around 20,000 MT of billet and 35,000 MT of bloom (150 X150 mm) and has scheduled the delivery of material to 31 Jul’16 on FoB Visakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port on the direct export basis. The last date for bid submission is till 14 Jun’16.

Last 20,000 MT bloom export tender concluded at lower price
On 21 May’16, the company floated an export tender for 30,000 MT bloom and 20,000 MT billet with scheduled technical bids to close on 26 May’16. According to sources, the company had concluded 20,000 MT bloom at USD 315/MT, FoB Vizag Port (India East Coast) and likely to be shipped to Bangladesh. Vessel freight from Indian East Coast to Bangladesh is approximately USD 15-20/MT.
