Namco Industries Pvt. Ltd. has commissioned a 2,500 mm wide plate mill at Khopoli, Maharashtra, offering plates 14 – 150 mm thick. As part of its expansion, the company has implemented laminar cooling technology to enhance value-added steel production. Other players in the 2,500 mm plate segment include JSPL, SAIL, JSW, Welspun, and AM/NS India, BigMint learnt from sources.
