Indian steel mills’ HRC export offers to Nepal dropped by $5/t w-o-w to $525/t CFR Raxaul this week. An Indian steel major sold around 20,000-25,000 t of HRCs at $520-525/t CFR Raxaul for Feb’25 shipment, sources informed BigMint. Notably, Nepal’s HRC import volumes rose by 11% or 50,381 t to 499,163 t in CY’24 from 448,782 t in CY’23.
