Export offers of hot-dipped galvanised iron (HDGI) coils (0.50 mm, 900-1,250 mm) dropped by around $5/t w-o-w to $735-740/t FOB west coast, India from $740-745/t FOB a week ago. A deal of around 2,000 t of HDGI was heard concluded by an Indian mill at $785/t CFR Europe for Feb’25 delivery despite sluggish demand in the European steel market, sources informed BigMint.
