India’s medium-carbon silico manganese prices (Mn: 53%, Si: 20%, C: 0.5% max) saw a minor drop of INR 400/t ($5/t) to INR 84,400/t ($976/t) exw-Durgapur on 23 Jan’25. Offers were around INR 85,000/t ($983/t), with indicative offers between INR 84,000-85,500/t ($971-989/t). A trade of 120 t occurred at INR 84,000/t, reflecting cautious buying and need-based purchasing behaviour.
