India’s portside South African thermal coal prices showed mixed trends this week. RB2 (5500 NAR) decreased INR 100/t w-o-w to INR 8,800/t; RB3 (4800 NAR) remained stable at INR 7,300/t at Gangavaram Port. Amid low demand and high stocks, the market witnessed sluggish buying activity. Notably, a deal for 30,000 t, including RB2 at INR 8,850/t and RB3 at INR 7,250/t, was concluded across various ports.
