India: OMC cuts chrome ore prices by 7% m-o-m for Jan’25 auction

OMC slashed its base price of chrome ore (Cr2O3: 42-54%) from South Kaliapani and Sukrangi mines by 7% m-o-m for the Jan’25 auction, tracking a 4% m-o-m dip in ferro chrome prices (as per BigMint’s assessment on 15 Jan). Notably, the miner has increased the offered quantity against Dec’24 auction.
