NMDC will auction 223,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 17 Jan’25.
- Bacheli: 38,700-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%); 107,500-t fines (Fe 64%); 8,000-t lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%)
- Kirandul: 68,800-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%).
Prices are yet to be declared. Following subdued response at the last few auctions and sluggish market dynamics, NMDC reduced prices of fines and lumps by INR 350/t for Jan’25 delivery on 9 Jan.
