Domestic billet prices in Iran remained stable, as prices have already bottomed out amid a recession and weak demand. Sources stated that mills cannot afford further price cuts. Meanwhile, rebar prices decreased due to a weak finished steel market.
- Billet prices remained stable at 275,000 Rial/kg on 8 Jan’25 against 6 Jan.
- Rebar prices decreased by 6,000 Rial/kg to 318,000 Rial/kg on 8 Jan as against 6 Jan.
