Leading Vietnamese steelmaker Hoa Phat has reduced its monthly HRC (SAE1006, non-skinpassed) prices by around $5/t m-o-m for Mar-Apr’25 sales, sources informed BigMint. Post-revision, prices stood at approximately $519/t or VND 13,220,000/t in the southern region, excluding VAT. The company reduced its prices to remain competitive in the face of declining domestic demand and falling import prices from China.
