Europe: Outokumpu announces stainless steel surcharges for Jan’25

Outokumpu has released its surcharges for flat alloy products for Jan’25 deliveries, which show a slight rise for majorly traded stainless steel grades. Post-revision, prices stood at:

• 304 (EN 1.4301) series: $2,221/t, up by $4/t m-o-m.
• 316L (EN 1.4404): $3,680/t, down by $21/t m-o-m.
• 430 (EN 1.4016): $1,123/t, up by $7/t m-o-m.

The company’s annual melt production capacity is 2.55 mnt. Cold-rolled/hot-rolled strip production is 1.6 mnt/year.
