India: Over 365,000 t of iron ore booked at auctions from Karnataka

On 19-20 Dec’24, 368,000-t iron ore were booked at auctions from Karnataka.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 164,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56.80-64.14%) booked at INR 3,981-6,270/t against base prices INR 3,981-5,815/t; 192,000-t fines (Fe 54.60-62.07%) booked at INR 2,828-5,740/t against base prices INR 2,828-4,400/t (prices include taxes).
• Vedanta: 8,000-t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 53%) and 4,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53%) booked at base prices INR 3,385/t and INR 2,500/t, respectively (excluding taxes).
