Gloomy atmosphere continues to prevail in the Anthracite Coal market in India.
There seems to be no import affinity left among buyers in the country.
The market outlook also remains sluggish upto the medium term. Availability of cheaper alternate fuels has restricted end-users from importing the relatively high-priced fuel.
Import offers this week have remained unchanged from that assessed the week last. According to a reputed importer, import offers from Russia have remained at around $96/MT CFR India.
