Base metals prices on LME witness downtrend, stocks show mixed movements

Base metal prices on the LME showed negative trends, while stocks at registered warehouses witnessed mixed movements today. Nickel saw the highest decline of 2.55% d-o-d. Zinc recorded the largest stock outflow, at 1.10% d-o-d. In India’s non-ferrous markets, domestic copper armature scrap was at INR 735,000/t ex-Delhi. Aluminium tense scrap remained stable d-o-d, with ex-Delhi-NCR prices at INR 174,000/t and ex-Chennai at INR 175,000/t.
