Iran’s domestic billet prices rose, driven by escalating production costs, stemming from a shortage of direct reduced iron. Consequently, rebar tags also trended upward despite uncertainties, sources informed BigMint.
- Billet prices rose by 5,000 rial/kg to 265,500 rial/kg on 18 Dec’24 as against 16 Dec.
- Rebar prices increased by 6,000 rial/kg to 313,000 rial/kg on 18 Dec as against 16 Dec.
