China: Steel billet prices remain stable d-o-d

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 3,110/t ($427/t) on 17 Dec’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
Stability in rebar futures along with improvement in finished steel prices have supported billet prices.
Meanwhile, SHFE rebar futures (May’25 delivery) remained largely stable at RMB 3,364/t ($462/t) on 17 Dec.
