India: NMDC to auction over 215,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh

NMDC will auction 216,100-t iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 18 Dec’24:

• Bacheli: 30,100-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%), 107,500-t fines (Fe 64%), and 14,000-t Baila-sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• Kirandul: 64,500-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%)

In NMDC’s 9 Dec’24 auction, 25,800-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) were booked at INR 7,500-7,510/t and 10,000-t Baila lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) at INR 6,860/t (base price). Prices were on FOR, ex-stockpile/mines basis, including royalty, DMF, NMET.
