Turkey imported 847,168 mt of Pig Iron in Jan to July this year, up by 54.1% as compared to the same period in 2011. Also, Turkey import price was $406/t, increase of
38.9% in first seven months this year in comparison to first seven months of last year.
In July 2012, Turkey imported 117,670 mt of Pig Iron, rise of 31% from June 2011 and 7.8% from July 2011.
Ukraine supplied 143.5% more i.e. 76,569 tons of Pig Iron to Turkey in July 12 from that of July 2011.
