India: Bids for DR-CLO largely stable in NMDC’s auction from Chhattisgarh

NMDC auctioned 209,800-t iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 9 Dec’24, ex-mines, including royalty. DR-CLO bids stood firm against 27 Nov auction.

• Bacheli: Entire 25,800-t DR-CLO (10-40 mm, Fe67%) sold at INR 7,500-7,510/t (base price, INR 7,480/t); 10,000-t (12,000-t) Baila lumps (10-20 mm, Fe65.5%) booked at INR 6,860/t base price; 107,500-t fines (Fe64%) unsold.
• Kirandul: 64,500-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe65.5%) unsold.
