Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices increase amid rising production costs

Domestic billet price in Iran climbed up this week, as rising utility and financing costs compelled steel producers to adjust prices for profitability. Consequently, rebar offers increased despite subdued demand, sources informed BigMint.

• Billet prices rose by 500 Rial/kg to 260,500 Rial/kg on 9 Dec’24 as against 4 Dec.
• Rebar tags increased by 2,000 Rial/kg to 307,000 Rial/kg on 9 Dec’24 as against 4 Dec.
