NMDC’s Kumaraswamy mines in Karnataka will auction 256,000 t of iron ore on 7 Dec’24. Of the total quantity, 176,000 t are fines (Fe 54.60-62.07%) and 80,000 t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56.80-62.79%). Floor prices are yet to be declared. In NMDC’s previous auction, on 28 Nov’24, 96,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 62.05-63.18%) and 176,000-t fines (Fe 53.54-63.08%) were booked at INR 6,493-6,625/t and INR 2,701-5,663/t, respectively (including royalty, DMF, and NMET).
