Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d on 30 Nov’24. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices were at INR 34,500/t ($408/t) ex-yard. Prices of semi-finished steel also remained nearly stable during yesterday’s trading session in the region. Given the moderate trade activity in scrap, suppliers opted to keep their offers unchanged today.
