Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan inched up by RMB 10/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,110/t ($429/t) on 29 Nov’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
Stability in finished steel prices, decent demand, and a rise in rebar futures kept billet tags supported.
Meanwhile, SHFE rebar futures (Jan’25 delivery) increased by RMB 6/t ($1/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,318/t ($458/t) on 29 Nov’24.
