Owing to technical difficulties, the government of Goa has decided to re-auction the Curpem and Sulcorna iron ore mine XI, for which Vedanta had emerged as the preferred bidder earlier this month. The auction date will be announced soon on the official MSTC website. The block, of around 87.65 Ha, is located in Goa and has geological resources of 9.8 mnt.
