India’s ferro chrome export prices fell to 90 cents/lb CNF Tianjin (down 0.5 cents/lb w-o-w) and 96 cents/lb CNF Tokyo and 95 cents/lb CNF Busan (down 1 cent/lb w-o-w each). Oversupply in China and TISCO’s lower Dec’24 tender prices pressured the market. Despite some elevated offers, trades were stalled due to competitive Chinese domestic prices, while Japanese demand remained subdued under long-term contracts.
