China: Steel billet prices rise by RMB 30/t ($4/t) d-o-d

Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan rose by RMB 30/t ($4/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,090/t ($427/t) on 19 Nov’24. Prices include 13% VAT.
A recovery in buying activity and an increase in raw material and finished steel prices supported billet tags.
Meanwhile, SHFE rebar futures (Jan’25 delivery) increased by RMB 43/t ($6/t) d-o-d to RMB 3,322/t ($459/t) on 19 Nov’24.
