Tata Steel’s Ferro Alloys and Minerals Division (FAMD) has set a benchmark in the ferro chrome sector by being the first in India to release an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The EPD is a Type III eco-label that provides transparent, third-party verified data on a product’s environmental impact based on a full lifecycle assessment (LCA).
