Secondary structure market in India registered steep price corrections because of slack trade activities took place last week. Light and heavy structure offers were plunged down by INR 500-1,500/MT in a week.
Major fall of INR 1,500/MT is witnessed in Ahemdabad, followed by Hyderabad (-700), Mumbai (-550) and Durgapur (-500). However, central Indian structure market was comparatively better than other markets.
In the meantime, 125*125 mm billet prices are evaluated at INR 21,650-25,700/MT; have changed slightly by INR 50-200/MT.
Current 100*100 mm angle offers are accessible at INR 28,300/MT in Durgapur, INR 27,000/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 25,500/MT in Raipur and INR 28,300/MT in Hyderabad.
While, 200*75 mm channel and 200*100 mm beam in Ghaziabad are offered at INR 30,000/MT and INR 29,500/MT, registering a price corrections of INR 200/MT W-o-W.
The same size channel offers in Durgapur are assessed at INR 28,300/MT, INR 27,200/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 28,600/MT in Mumbai and INR 25,800/MT in Raipur.
