India: Over 15,000 t of iron ore booked in SMIORE’s auction from Karnataka

SMIORE conducted an auction from Karnataka on 9 Nov’24, in which 19,000 t of iron ore lumps were booked.

• 3,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 56.2-57%) booked at INR 4,850-5,060/t against base prices of INR 4,780-5,060/t.
• 10,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 56.5-57.5%) booked at INR 4,200-4,540/t against base prices of INR 4,190-4,530/t.
• 6,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 58.8%) booked at INR 5,540/t against the base price of INR 5,530/t.

Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
