India: JSP reports drop in steel production, sales q-o-q in Q2FY’25

Jindal Steel & Power’s (JSP) steel production dropped 4% q-o-q to 1.97 mnt in Q2FY’25 as against 2.05 mnt in last quarter. Meanwhile, the same rose 4% y-o-y from 1.9 mnt in Q2FY’24. Steel sales declined 11% on the quarter to 1.85 mnt in Q2FY’25 from 2.09 mnt in Q1FY’25. On y-o-y basis also, the same was down by 8% as compared with 2.01 mnt in the CPLY.
