India: NMDC to auction over 140,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh

NMDC will auction 141,000 t of iron ore from Chhattisgarh on 7 Nov’24:

• Bacheli: 34,400-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%), 51,600-t fines (Fe 64%), and 12,000-t Baila-sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%)
• Kirandul: 43,000-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%)

At NMDC’s 25 Oct’24 auction, 21,500-t DRCLO (10-40 mm, Fe 67%) were booked at INR 8,730/t and 12,900-t fines (Fe 64%) at INR 5,460/t from Bacheli. Additionally, 17,200-t Kirandul ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) were booked at INR 5,920/t.
